RSVP for our next bargaining session on Thursday!
Our next bargaining session is Thursday, December 5th, from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM over ZOOM. Please RSVP if you would like to attend so we can share logistical information ahead of the session. All postdocs are welcome and encouraged to observe our elected Bargaining Committee negotiate with the administration. The more postdocs observing, the more power we have as a bargaining unit!
At the session last month, our bargaining committee reached our second tentative agreement with the administration on Union Management, received the first counter proposal to Discipline and Dismissal, and a counter proposal to Grievance and Arbitration. Our bargaining committee met with Einstein this past week for impromptu sessions to address changes Einstein is trying to implement to the health care policy, which will continue at Thursday’s session. Einstein’s team still has yet to respond to multiple of our proposals initially proposed back in September, including Non-Discrimination and Harassment, Intellectual Property, and more.
