The NLRB just finished counting ballots and we voted by an overwhelming 82.6% (152-yes to 32-no), in favor of Einstein Researchers United-UAW (ERU-UAW) as our union.
We will have more information soon regarding next steps in our campaign. For now, we want to thank everyone who participated in our historic election and in the months of discussion and debate among postdocs that led to this point. Together, we have truly generated an unprecedented conversation around the importance and value of our work as postdocs at this institute and beyond.
We will be celebrating our victory this evening at Morris Park Inn (1024 Morris Park Ave, Bronx, NY 10461) – we hope to see you there!
