Our initial bargaining goals have been ratified by 98.6% (141 voting yes to 2 voting no). This result builds on our 82.6% vote to form our union, and gives us a strong mandate to negotiate for needed improvements to our working conditions at Einstein.
The goals were developed based on bargaining surveys filled out by a supermajority of postdocs, as well as from town halls and in-person conversations over many months. We are very excited to draft more specific proposals that address each of these goals in detail in preparation for negotiations with the Einstein administration.
