Our vote to ratify our Initial Bargaining Goals will run from today until Wednesday, July 24 at 5pm. Eligible voters are all Postdoctoral Fellows currently employed by the institute who have filled out a bargaining survey or an authorization card.
As your ERU-UAW bargaining committee, we urge everyone to ratify the initial bargaining goals so that we have as much power as possible to improve our working conditions during negotiations for our first contract. The goals are purposely ambitious and broad. In the coming weeks, we will prepare more specific proposals that address each of these goals in detail.
Today at 4pm we will hold a Town Hall on our Initial Bargaining Goals in Price Building Room 251! Come meet our ERU-UAW Bargaining Committee to hear about our goals for negotiations based on your feedback from the bargaining surveys, discussions during town halls, and more.
